JANESVILLE, Wis. — Two Loves Park, Ill., men — Brandon M. Bunch, 23, and Brandon S. Turnure, 20 — were arrested Tuesday night, March 19, and charged with the armed robbery of a Janesville Township man and his son.

The armed robbery occurred in the 5800 block of North Glenmoor Lane in Janesville Township. Two men pointed guns at a man and his son in a driveway and took an iPhone and laptop before escaping in a Cadillac.

The man followed the suspects to a parking lot behind the Janesville Athletic Club on Blackbridge Road, where the Cadillac had hit a building and gotten stuck in a snow bank. The man then went to a nearby bar to call 911, telling dispatch that the men had taken the license plate off the car and ran away.

Rock County deputies began a foot pursuit, and Janesville police officers and a K9 unit responded and helped take both suspects into custody. In a search of the area and vehicle, two guns, a cell phone, and a laptop were recovered.

Bunch and Turnure are being held at Rock Count Jail and will appear in court March 21. Additional charges are expected, as the men have been linked to a similar incident in Madison, Wis., March 16.
