Two Minnesota men arrested on I-90 after being found with suspected drug money

PECATONICA, Ill. — At approximately 3:21 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, an Illinois State Police District 16 trooper stopped a gray 2005 Chrysler on I-90 eastbound near Illinois Route 173 for a moving violation.
During the traffic stop, the trooper located more than $8,000 of suspected drug money on the occupants of the vehicle. The money was seized and the driver, Quaran Khalifa Mashawn Bennett, 25, of Rochester, Minn., was arrested for driving while license revoked.
Wyatt Luke Jackson, 29, of Owatonna, Minn., was arrested on a no bond parole violation warrant issued by the Minnesota Department of Corrections as well as attempting to obstruct justice.
