Free Financial Aid Fair at City Hall March 23

A Financial Aid Fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 23, in the lobby of Rockford City Hall, 425 E. State St.

The event is being coordinated by Sierra Noble of Pecatonica High School. Noble identified the need to coordinate a Financial Aid Fair after she attended a leadership conference and saw how advancing one’s education would be helpful, saying “it’s never too late, too hard or too expensive to continue your education.”

Schools in attendance will be St. Anthony’s College of Nursing, Upper Iowa University, Rasmussen College, Rockford Career College, Goodman Career Institute and Highland Community College. Guests attending the event will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with advisers from each school to best explore their post-secondary opportunities.
