He is initially skeptical, especially when the alleged dopplegängers are able to answer detailed questions about their lives, but he is eventually persuaded that something odd has happened and determines to find out what is causing this phenomenon. Starring Kevin McCarthy, Dana Wynter and Larry Gates; directed by Don Spiegel, who also directed the Dirty Harry movies.
The series of 1950s Science Fiction Films was selected with the assistance of Dr. Ed Finch, executive director for the Freeport Historical Museum, and Alan Wenzel, the Speech and Communications instructor for Highland Community College. A brief introduction will be held before the movie and with a discussion led by Dr. Finch and Wenzel following the movie. Movie-goers are encouraged to stay after the film to participate in this exchange.
