Spring Break will soon be upon us. For families looking for fun activities, Rockford’s Discovery Center Museum is the perfect place. In addition to 200 hands-on exhibits, news studio, art studio, planetarium and a fantastic outdoor wooden park, there will be special art activities, live science demonstrations and more from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, during the weeks of March 25-29 and April 1-5 for “Spring into Science.”
Also on those days, planetarium shows will be at 1 p.m.; live science demonstrations will be at 2:30 p.m. in the theater; and art activities will be on the exhibit floor from 1 to 4 p.m.
General admission to the museum is $8 for adults, $8 for children (ages 2-17) and free to children age 1 and younger and museum members.
