Rockford’s Discovery Center offers Spring Break fun

Spring Break will soon be upon us. For families looking for fun activities, Rockford’s Discovery Center Museum is the perfect place. In addition to 200 hands-on exhibits, news studio, art studio, planetarium and a fantastic outdoor wooden park, there will be special art activities, live science demonstrations and more from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, during the weeks of March 25-29 and April 1-5 for “Spring into Science.”

Also on those days, planetarium shows will be at 1 p.m.; live science demonstrations will be at 2:30 p.m. in the theater; and art activities will be on the exhibit floor from 1 to 4 p.m.

General admission to the museum is $8 for adults, $8 for children (ages 2-17) and free to children age 1 and younger and museum members.
