Rockford Art Museum’s (RAM) 72nd Young Artist Show continues Sunday, April 14, with a free, public opening and awards recognition ceremony for its Youth Division, an annual exhibition that features outstanding artwork by kindergarten through eighth-grade students at public, private and home schools in Winnebago County. The free public opening will run 1-3 p.m., April 14.

The exhibit remains on display through Sunday, May 12. On view are 458 paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media and digital artwork representing about 475 students at 79 schools in Winnebago County.

Recognition awards, one per grade level, will be announced at 2 p.m. during the free public opening April 14.
