Tuesday, May 14, Senior Follies singers, dancers and musicians will present “Thanks for the Memories,” a fund-raiser for Lifescape, the largest local agency serving the needs of senior citizens. For the past 19 years, the Rockford Senior Follies has put on annual shows to help raise money for Lifescape’s worthy cause.

Two shows, at 2 and 6:30 p.m., will be held May 14 at Rockford First Church, on Mulford and Spring Creek Road. The shows will be performed in the church’s small auditorium to provide a more intimate atmosphere with the audience. Seating is limited.

Senior Follies is an energetic, fast-moving and fun musical revue that features 60 talented performers and many different costumes. Audiences will again enjoy Paul Logli, the show’s emcee, as well as the talents of guest performers Patte Armato Lund, Mike Williamson, Dr. Kris Tumilowicz, Pauline Cultra and Glenn Schorsch.

Senior Follies is the only senior performing troupe of its kind in the local area. It offers an opportunity for seniors ages 55 and older to recapture new challenges.
