The Alzheimer’s Association sincerely thanks the Rock River area for supporting its second annual Reason to Hope luncheon May 17. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the event raised more than $1,000 for the Rock River Office’s programs and services.
The purpose of the luncheon was to educate area residents of the prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease in America and the vital work done by the association’s Rock River Office. Patricia Millican of Sterling was keynote speaker.
The association is already looking for people interested in hosting a table at next spring’s Reason to Hope luncheon! Those interested should call Tina Barnhart at the Rock River Office at (815) 285-1100.
The Alzheimer’s Association-Central Illinois is a donor-supported, not-for-profit health organization serving 20 counties in Illinois. For additional information or for help, please visit the website at www.alz.org/illinoiscentral.
