Aristotle’s Corner seeks intellectual environment

Aristotle’s Corner in Rockford, 3845 E. State St., is the perfect locally-owned place to find a large selection of books, CDs, DVDs and vintage radios. The items are offered at bargain prices, in which there are many $3 books, CDs and DVDs, and free Wi-Fi access is offered.

Owner Zhian Rezazadeh, who opened the shop Oct. 23, 2012, said he wants to provide a stress-free environment where people can enjoy the pleasure of reading a book, listening to music or watching a film. In this environment, individuals are provided with the opportunity of engaging in intellectual conversations with each other. The owner also plans on enhancing this environment by organizing regular events such as Poet’s Corner, the Author’s Corner and the Fiddlers’ Corner to stimulate intellectual curiousity.

Rezazadeh’s goal is to provide an enviroment in which customers can “come back to the real thing” in which they engage in such activities as reading a real book or listening to music not provided on the Internet. Call (815) 226-7003 for more details.
