MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. — The Epilepsy Foundation is hosting Jeff’s Bike Ride for Epilepsy Saturday, June 22, starting at Harlem High School, 1 Huskie Circle, Machesney Park, Ill.
Riders have a choice between three routes, including 100k, 50k,and a 10k family ride. The 10k ride is kid-friendly. The two longer rides will begin at Harlem High School at 7:30 a.m. and cost $30. The 10k family ride will begin at 9 a.m. and costs $10. All proceeds will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation. Prices increase by $5 for riders registering the day of the event. The event will also include a light breakfast for the riders, and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.
The Epilepsy Foundation North Central Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska focuses on helping to ensure people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and prevent control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research.
