Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine

In my 31 years in business, type 2 diabetes has exploded. It’s become very clear to me that a healthy dietary regimen is the best way for managing type 2 diabetes. We all have different food preferences, and continual wrong food choices will cause illness, and this is one reason I believe type 2 diabetes has exploded. It is critical to eat healthy foods and watch how many simple and complex carbohydrates you are eating.

When new clients come to me and share that their medical doctor wants to put them on meds for their high blood sugar, I educate them on blood sugar issues. Glucose is the medical term for sugar in the blood. The pancreas regulates blood sugar levels by producing a substance called insulin. Insulin carries blood sugar to the body’s cells to be used as energy. When the pancreas fails to produce enough insulin, blood sugar levels begin to rise, and high blood sugar or possibly diabetes sets in. This is one of many issues that affect your ability to have normal blood sugar levels.

Maintaining a controlled blood sugar level is imperative for your optimal health. Even if you have not been diagnosed with having diabetes, blood sugar levels that are consistently unbalanced can have a detrimental effect on your body and emotional health. Do you realize that when your blood sugar drops, you become mean? Have you ever put it together that when your blood sugar drops, you become agitated? Have you ever put it together that when your blood sugar drops, you are not yourself? Yes, blood sugar has everything to do with emotional health. Here are other symptoms that are the result of unbalanced blood sugar:

Fatigue, fat around belly, irritability, craving for sweets or coffee, afternoon headaches, light-headedness, shaky, excessive appetite, forgetfulness, dizziness and poor circulation.

If you have any of the above issues and you believe you have blood sugar issues, I challenge you to try my 10-day blood sugar program. This program is specific to the organs and glands that assist in managing desirable blood sugar levels. This program consists of a high-quality whole food diet along with a cleanse to assist the pancreatic flexure and to cleanse and detox the large intestine. The 10-day dietary guidelines are designed to help balance your body’s chemistry and aid the body in returning to its normal function.

Once you have completed the 10-day challenge, you may move on to phase 2, or stay with phase 1. It is amazing when clients go back to their medical doctors how their triglycerides have significantly dropped; LDL, which is the bad cholesterol, dropped and how the HDL, which is the good cholesterol, rose. Again, this is all in just 10 days. Please call my office if I can help you with emotional happiness by balancing your blood sugar.
