‘Bunking with the Birds’ registration deadline July 26

Rockford Park District’s Atwood Center invites youth ages 5-17 (with an accompanying adult) to enjoy a dynamic one-of-a-kind experience “Bunking with the Birds” at Rockford’s Seth B. Atwood Park. Sleep in the treehouse in the Birds of Prey exhibit, surrounded by wild birds overnight from 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 2, through 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 3.

Fees per person are: youth — $30 ($35 non-resident); accompanying adults — $15 ($20 non-resident), including campfire meals.

Each child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian age 18 or older. Register by July 26, either online at www.rockfordparkdistrict.org (click My RPD, by mail, fax (using credit card), or at Customer Service locations in downtown Rockford or at Carlson Ice Arena, Riverside and Perryville, Loves Park.
