Epilepsy Foundation’s Mud Volleyball Tournament in Roscoe Aug. 3

ROSCOE, Ill. — Registration is now open for the Epilepsy Foundation’s annual Mud Volleyball Tournament. This year’s event will be Saturday, Aug. 3, at Kelley-Meyers Park in Roscoe, Ill.

Mud volleyball has been a signature event in the area for the past 30 years, and has grown to include more than 320 teams and 5,000 people in attendance. Teams are forming and registration is open to the first 320 teams at www.epilepsyheartland.org or by calling the Epilepsy Foundation at (815) 964-2689.

It’s a big party, with a little bit of Volleyball mixed in,” said Mike Fitzgerald, event participant for the past five years. “We look forward to the tournament every year. You just have all of these people having a good time playing in the mud.”

The Epilepsy Foundation North Central Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska focuses on helping to ensure people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research.
