The Just Between Friends (JBF) Consignment Sale will be at Rockford’s Tebala Shrine Center, 7910 Newburg Road, Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 26-28.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, with $3 admission; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, with free admission; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with 50 percent off all items.
So far, more than 140 local moms have registered to participate in JBF — a semi-annual kids’ consignment sales event in which moms sell new and gently-used clothes and toys their kids have outgrown as well as bargain shop for things they might need — all under one roof in one weekend.
Rockford native Heather White has traveled to a similar sale in Madison, Wis., and is looking forward to being able to shop in Rockford.
“I have 2-year-old twins and money is tight,” White said. “Many of the items I have are hardly worn before more clothes must be purchased. Since my twins outgrow clothes so quickly and they constantly need new clothes, all of these different-sized clothing starts to pile up! The sale gives us needed space for the larger-sized clothes the girls are growing into.”
Local residents who want to learn more about the sale are encouraged to go online to www.rockford.jbfsale.com.
