Artists’ Ensemble (AE) Theater will present a live radio performance of After The Thin Man in the Cheek Theatre at Rockford University at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18.
There are no tickets to this performance, only a contribution jar at the door.
Get in the Halloween mood with a good, old-fashioned murder mystery. Presented as a live radio broadcast, complete with sound effects, this is the Lux Radio Theater original adaptation of the 1936 film. Don’t miss this witty mystery classic featuring a charming pair of sleuths and a host of suspects. Whodunit?
Husband-and-wife sleuths Nick and Nora Charles have arrived home in San Francisco just in time to celebrate New Year’s 1936. Nick has sworn off detective work, and this time, he means it. That is, until a member of Nora’s family is arrested for murder.
David A. Gingerich and Katie Maringer will play the roles of Nick and Nora Charles, and they will be joined by an all-star cast; Patte Armato Lund, Christopher D. Brady, John Chase, Erin Koroll, Tom Dotson, Chad Brazle and Tim Anderson on piano.
