On West State Street, there’s a blue two-story home that once was a grand place to live, but now it’s being neglected and decaying.
There are two gaping holes in its roof. The base of the bell cap (corner tower) is rotting away. The gutters are in need of repair, and there’s a tattered curtain.
So, why hasn’t this structure been repaired? It’s an ugly eyesore! Why hasn’t it been condemned? Is it scheduled for a wrecking crew? Just maybe our city planners “frankly don’t give a damn!”
