Steve McNett retires from PCI after 27 years

Packaging Coordinators Inc. (PCI) has announced the retirement of Steve McNett, senior vice president of quality. McNett has worked at PCI, formerly Anderson Packaging/AndersonBrecon, for more than 27 years. He has overseen quality functions at the Rockford location through substantial growth and expansion during his time with the company. Founded in Rockford as Anderson Packaging in 1967 and acquired by PCI in May 2013, the company has grown to operate nine facilities in the Rockford area, employing more than 1,200 highly-trained associates.

“Many of us have had the pleasure of working very closely with Steve for the past two decades,” said Bill Pruyne, senior vice president of operations at PCI. “Steve has led by example, putting quality at the forefront of our business and ensuring the company does not waver in its commitment to patient safety. He has created a lasting legacy here at PCI.”

McNett concludes a distinctive career in the quality sector of the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining PCI/Anderson, McNett held quality leadership positions at Merion Health & Safety and has maintained leadership roles over the years with the American Society for Quality (ASQ). McNett is a graduate ofIllinois State University and is a veteran of the United States Army.
