Transform Rockford, the regional long-term planning group aimed to improve the social and economic condition of the area, announced the schedule of its upcoming Community Visioning Sessions Thursday, Jan. 9.
The two-hour public sessions will be held at seven Rock River Valley locations from Jan. 13 through February. Each meeting will follow a question-answer format, allowing trained facilitators and moderators to share facts about Rockford and seek input from the community.
“It’s an opportunity for people to get engaged,” Transform Rockford Executive Director Mike Schablaske said. “We are blessed with a lot of interest and participation and ideas. This is a forum where we can start talking about what it is we want to be and then make the plans on how to become that.”
