Your Horoscope: Week of Feb. 5-11, 2014
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of Feb. 5-11, 2014
This Week: Just a friendly reminder that Mercury retrograde will be primed and ready for mischief-making Thursday, Feb. 6, through Feb. 28 of this month. So, be prepared — check and double-check messages, be cautious during travel, and back up your computers. Mercury, the planet that influences travel and communication, can get a little bit sticky when it goes into a retrograde phase. However, sometimes it can be a very helpful energy, too. It can open doors or break up stagnant situations that have been looming for a very long time. So, with that said, see where you can utilize this aspect to improve the quality of your life.
Aries (March 21 to April 19) — A fabulous collaboration with those of like mind will begin to align during this time. You are past the point of impressed with how easily this flows, allowing you to expand your thinking process for the greater good of all. Seminars and workshops will influence your life. You will be in a position to offer an abundance of helpful information that is valuable to all.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) — A change in job, residence or expansion with a self-employed venture finds you in good standing. The powers that be will be offering you an opportunity that will be very difficult to resist. This will be a wish come true for you now. If you are not aware of what is to come, expect this to manifest by the end of March. An unexpected windfall arrives in the nick of time.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) — Legal documents and paperwork fall into place this week, allowing the benefits of your hard work and energy to shine through. You will feel a sense of relief aligning these aspects for the power of greater good. Midweek, set time aside for romance; you will be pleasantly surprised with the reception you will receive.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) — You may be grieving a loss of some kind, or walking another through this process with your heartfelt experience. Expect emotional backing from an unusual source. Someone finally understands exactly what you have been dealing with. They will be more than willing to help you move through a challenge with dignity and grace. By week’s end, you have a competitive edge within your field, and all eyes are on you.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) — Challenges in the workplace shouldn’t really affect you personally, so make sure you’re not perceiving it this way. Make your feelings known regarding a loved one or friendship this week. Others are not mind-readers, and your behavior may be confusing them as to what you really need from life. After a long heart-to-heart talk, you realize you are both on the same page. From there, the rest is history.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) — New opportunities arrive within your personal life, filling you with love and energy. Finally, you are able to receive the support to which you are entitled without feeling as though the rug is going to slip out from under you. You may be concerned about the health or welfare of another. Keep your eyes and ears open for clues as to how you may be able to remedy an over-exaggerated problem.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) — The sale of a large-ticket item will be on the table this month. Try not to challenge this blessing when it arrives, just let it go. Travel is on your mind this week, and you’re hoping to put everything into place before you need to head out. Check and double-check scheduling as well as making sure your home-front responsibilities are secure. Once you have everything in alignment, you can enjoy time with your loved ones.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) — A competitive earth-sign individual may set out to make your life miserable early on this week. This is only possible if you allow it to be, so don’t take it personally. Unfortunately, they are like this with everybody. Rise above this petty emotional element, and carry on with all of your responsibilities as scheduled. Do not get sucked into this lower form of behavior. By week’s end, you will see he who laughs last, laughs best.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) — Legal aspects or contracts begin to take a positive turn for the better. An unexpected phone call provides an opportunity to improve the quality of your life now. An upgrade in pay or a new responsibility with your current employment finds you high as a kite at this time. Romance opens doors for a deeper level of commitment. Go for it.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) — A past loan or debt due to you will magically take shape and form. This may be completely unexpected, but will definitely put a spring in your step this week. Many of you may have found as of late your energy is low or your anxiety is at an all-time high. Expect your lackluster emotions to kick into high gear now. Energies will be shifting by Valentine’s Day.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) — A chance meeting with an old friend or family member provides unexpected information that will benefit you in the months to come. Many are working behind the scenes to help you obtain your goals. You are surprised at the amount of love and energy you receive this week. Don’t be — you deserve it.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) — Interesting artifacts appear as you begin to remove clutter from your home environment. You may find an emotional attachment to many of these items as they bring back beautiful memories from long ago. Stumbling across these aspects allows you to heal old wounds you have tucked away. At week’s end, you are filled with boundless energy as a result of this time frame.
