The Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra (RSYO) will host their fifth annual Trivia Night fund-raiser at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28.
This fun-filled evening of trivia and good-natured competition will be at the Riverfront Museum Park, 711 N. Main St., in Kresge Hall. Pre-registration by Feb. 24 is strongly recommended; walk-ups are welcome, but space is limited. The entry fee is $15 per person or $100 for teams of eight. Check-in starts at 6 p.m.
This year’s hosts will be father-daughter duo Dr. Arnold Rosen and Emily Schubert, who will lead the evening’s friendly competition and emcee the event.
Trivia Night questions, written by a variety of community experts, will include 10 categories such as sports, current events, arts, food and science. Prizes will be awarded for the top three winning teams and for the best table decorations.
A 50/50 raffle and silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra, will also be held. This is a family-friendly event, but would be best enjoyed by children 14 and older.
Beverages will be provided. Desserts and food will be available for purchase, or attendees may bring their own snacks. This is an alcohol-free event.
