Machesney Park woman jailed after meth raid

A Machesney Park woman was arrested Thursday, Feb. 20, after items consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine were allegedly found in her house.

Cara J. Rudolph, 36, has been charged with single counts of unlawful participation in meth manufacturing, unlawful possession of meth manufacturing and unlawful use of property for meth manufacturing.

Twenty-six-year-old Paul A. Cole of Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Wisconsin.

The warrant to search Rudolph’s house was executed by members of the State Line Area Narcotics Team (SLANT), Loves Park Police Department and Illinois State Police Meth Response Team.

Rudolph is lodged in the Winnebago County Jail without bond. She’s scheduled to appear in court Friday, Feb. 21. Cole is also jailed and is awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.
