Police release names of those involved in fatal March 23 crash on Seminary

Rockford police have released the names of the victims involved in the fatal crash that occurred around 2 a.m., Sunday, March 23, in the area of 1300 Seminary St.
Police were called to the scene after receiving reports of a serious accident. Upon arrival, officers found a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina that had struck a utility pole and a vacant building at Seminary and Catherine streets.
The driver, Suaveya Williams, a 21-year-old Rockford woman, died at the scene. Three passengers — 18-year-old Johnesia Smith, 18-year-old Monisha Rogers and 19-year-old Jasmine Harris, all of Rockford — were treated and released from local hospitals.
