DEKALB, Ill. — The DeKalb Kiwanis Club will present its 59th Annual Community Breakfast, “Spring Fling,” from 7 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 29, at First Congregational Church, 615 N. First St., DeKalb, Ill.
Menu includes golden pancakes prepared on a rotating griddle, freshly scrambled eggs, numerous toppings with syrup, sausage, apple sauce, coffee, and drinks.
Friendly activities include “For Kids,” a silent auction, door prizes and a special “Musical Youth Talent Showcase.”
Proceeds will assist the club in its “community and beyond” projects.
“Our club loves hosting this annual event for our community where proceeds are dedicated to our numerous community projects,” said club President Jim Morel. “We appreciate our business and community partnerships in serving the children of the world, especially youth and preschool children.”
Tickets are $7 for individuals; $5 for children; $20 for a family pack that includes two adults and two kids plus four free raffle tickets; and $35 for a “Breakfast Club” package that includes six adult tickets and six free special raffle tickets.
