Leaders to discuss immigration reform April 25 at Memorial Hall

With members of Congress home for the April recess, top Illinois faith, business and law enforcement leaders will meet at 10 a.m., Friday, April 25, at Veterans Memorial Hall, 211 N. Main St., Rockford, to discuss immigration and urge Congress to vote this year.

The meeting, hosted by the Bibles, Badges and Business for Immigration Reform network (BBB), FWD.us, the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition, the Illinois Farm Bureau, the U.S. Chamber of Congress and Rockford Urban Ministries, will speak to the economic, moral and security imperatives for passing commonsense immigration reform this Congress.
