Rockford Speedway: ‘Dollar Night,’ Figure 8 race on tap for April 26

LOVES PARK, Ill. — Race fans will be able to take advantage of great deals AND watch exciting racing action this Saturday night, April 26, at Rockford Speedway with the return of Mobil 1 “Dollar Night.”
“Dollar Night” features great deals, including select concession and drink items for just $1 (check out the “Dollar Menu” below).
Saturday night is also the first of three “Dollar Beer Saturdays” in the Miller Lite Pavilion.
On-track action on “Dollar Night” includes the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsmen, Kickstart Roadrunners, Sam’s Drive-In Roadrunner Challenge “Kidney Bean Race” and the return of “Wild & Crazy” Figure 8 racing!
Gates open at 5 p.m., Stateline Staffing Services Fast Dashes go green at 7:07 p.m. Adult admission is $12, students age 12-17 are $8, children age 6-11 are $5 while kids 5 and younger are free.

Saturday night’s ‘Dollar Menu’
The following concession items are $1 this weekend: french fries, popcorn, fountain soda, hot chocolate, hot dogs, bratwurst, chili, and pickles.
Tractor Town ‘Kids’ Night’ a week away
Next Saturday night (May 3) marks the first of four “Kids’ Nights” this summer.
On “Kids’ Night,” kids 11 and younger are admitted free.
Rockford Speedway “Kids’ Nights” feature fun events for kids, and next week is no exception, as the first 1,000 kids through the gate next will receive a free racing poster courtesy of Pepsi and Doc 360. There will also be tractor rides for kids, and at intermission, all kids 11 and younger will be invited on track for the “Kids’ Candy Scramble.”
Racing action next Saturday night includes the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Miller Lite American Short Trackers, Kickstart Roadrunners and the Sam’s Drive-In Roadrunner Challenge “Double Spin to Win” race.

WXRX ‘Wing Ding’ a month away
We are just one month away from “The Loudest Day,” with the return of the WXRX Wing Ding.
The day of rock ’n’ roll music takes place Sunday, May 25, at Rockford Speedway. Wing Ding is back and bigger than ever, headlined by Alice In Chains and also featuring Black Stone Cherry, Queensryche featuring Geoff Tate, Adelita’s Way, Fuel, Wayland and Cilver. The event will be hosted by Young MC.

Starting Thursday, May 1, and continuing through Saturday, May 24, tickets will be available for $40. Walk-up tickets will then be available Sunday, May 25, at the Rockford Speedway Box Office for $45.
