Council of Rockford Gardeners’ Garden Walk 2014 set for June 18

The Council of Rockford Gardeners is hosting its annual free Garden Walk featuring many beautiful gardens in the Rockford area from noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 18. This is a “rain or shine” event.
An estimated 700 gardeners attended the event last year. Attend and be a part of the Rockford gardening story.
Highlights include the following:
• A FREE self-guided tour of many unique gardens.
• Viewing some of the most beautiful and inspiring gardens in the Rockford area.
• Gardening and gardens of every variety, including eclectic, traditional, country, Old World and containers; vegetables, herbs, grasses, perennials and hostas; water features, statuary, garden, art and koi ponds; and large, small, sun, shade, new and old.
