Brooks brothers return to Rockford for Barstool Bob Levis benefit concert

Sunday, June 22, is the date when Ronnie Baker Brooks and his brother, Wayne Baker Brooks, will return to Rockford to participate in a benefit concert for Barstool Bob Levis.

Bob was a member of their dad Lonnie Brooks’ band for many years. They played together from Rockford to points all around the globe together.

Ronnie and Wayne are the featured guest performers at the benefit, which begins at 3 p.m., June 22, at the Lyran Club, 1115 Fourth Ave., Rockford.

Ronnie and Wayne continue the tradition of the rocking blues that their dad Lonnie began! The show goes from 3 to 8 p.m., with many musical acts taking the stage.

In addition to the Brooks brothers, Dave Specter, Rockn’ Johnny Burgin, Barrelhouse Chuck, Dave Weld, Monica Mhyre, The Basement Blues Band, The New Savages, Lucky 3 Blues Band, Scott Bradbury, Frank Bandy, Steve Ditzel, Allen Kirk and Barstool Bob’s Band will perform, and other guests are expected to also participate.
