Old Settlers Days June 19-22 in Rockton

ROCKTON, Ill. — The Rockton Lions Club will present Old Settlers Days Thursday-Sunday, June 19-22, at Settlers Park on East Hawick Street, behind First National Bank-Macktown (300 E. Main St.), in downtown Rockton, Ill.

Gates open at 4 p.m., Thursday and Friday; 12:30 p.m., Saturday; and 1:30 p.m., Sunday. The festival features live music and entertainment, carnival rides, food, parade, Trading Post with nearly 50 vendors, fireworks and other festivities. Admission to the festival is as follows:

• Four-day admission pass — $6 in advance, $10 beginning June 19. A four-day pass is good for all four days of the festival, although an additional ticket is needed for Main Stage concerts. Children 12 and younger do not require a pass. Passes may be purchased in advance at all Kelley Williamson Mobil locations, Rockton 66, First National Bank-Macktown, Macktown Insurance and First National Bank, Roscoe.

• Chemtool Festival Stage — No additional ticket required, only a four-day pass needed.

• Dodge Ram Jam Main Stage — Bret Michaels and Wayland, $25; Lee Brice and Dylan Scott, $25; Chris Young and Drew Baldridge, $25; and Colt Ford and Cole Swindell, $25. Separate concert ticket required for admittance to the Dodge Ram Jam Main Stage.

Thursday, June 19 (gates open at 4 p.m.)

1-8 p.m. — Rock River Valley Blood Center Blood Drive

6-10 p.m. — Midway by Skinner’s Amusements (Ride special: 6-10 p.m., $17 wristband special, all rides, all ages)

4-10:30 p.m. — Trading Post, Information Booth, 50/50 raffle tickets and food booths open

4-10:30 p.m. — Beer Tent open, featuring Miller and Bud products

6-10:30 p.m. — VIP Tent open (6:30-8:30 p.m., VIP Tent barbecue pork dinner provided by Mead’s Meats, dessert by DairyHaus)

Chemtool Festival Stage (no concert ticket required) — 4-5 p.m., Audio Abduction; and 5:30-7 p.m., Audio Drive.

Dodge Ram Jam Main Stage ($25 concert ticket required) — Wayland and Bret Michaels, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, June 20 (gates open at 4 p.m.)

4-11 p.m. — Trading Post, Information Booth, 50/50 raffle tickets and food booths open

6-11 p.m. —Midway by Skinner’s Amusements (Ride special: 20 tickets for $20, with rides being three to five tickets each).

4-11 p.m. — Beer Tent open, featuring Miller and Bud products

6-11 p.m. — VIP Tent open (6:30-8:30 p.m., with mostaccioli dinner by Bravo’s and dessert by DairyHaus)

Chemtool Festival Stage (no concert ticket required) — 4:30-6 p.m., Courtney Davies Band; and 6:45-8:15 p.m., Jamie Campbell & the Redneck Romeos

Dodge Ram Jam Main Stage ($25 concert ticket required) — Dylan Scott and Lee Brice, beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 21 (gates open at 12:30 p.m.)

7 a.m. — 5k Run check-in

8 a.m. — 5k Run/Walk start

9-11 a.m. — 5k Run/Walk awards and participant breakfast

Noon — Parade (travels west along Main Street, kicking off at Rockton Hononegah High School, 307 Salem St., and ending at the race)

1-11 p.m. — Trading Post, Information Booth, 50/50 raffle tickets and food booths open

1-11 p.m. — Midway by Skinner’s Amusements (Ride special: 1-5 p.m., wristband special is $17 for all rides, all ages)

1-11 p.m. — Beer Tent open, featuring Miller and Bud products

4-11 p.m. — VIP Tent open (6:30-8:30 p.m., VIP Tent prime rib sandwich dinner by Fibs, dessert by DairyHaus)

Chemtool Festival Stage (no concert ticket required) — 1-2:30 p.m., Pablo and the Rhythmix; 3-4:30 p.m., County Line Live; 5-6:30 p.m., Tripping Tarzan; and 7-8:30 p.m., Southern Charm.

Dodge Ram Jam Main Stage ($25 concert ticket required) — Drew Baldridge and Chris Young, beginning at 8:45 p.m.

Sunday, June 22 (gates open at 1:30 p.m.)

2-9:30 p.m. — Trading Post, Information Booth, 50/50 raffle tickets, and food booths open

2-9:30 p.m. — Midway by Skinner’s Amusements (Ride special: 20 tickets for $20, all rides two tickets each)

2-9:30 p.m. — Beer Tent open, featuring Miller and Bud products

2-9:30 p.m. — VIP Tent open (5:30-7:30 p.m., barbecue pork dinner by Mary’s Place and desserts by DairyHaus)

Chemtool Festival Stage (no concert ticket required) — 1-2:30 p.m., Dirty Fishnet Stockings; 3-4:30 p.m., Can’t Touch This; and 5-6:30 p.m., Back Country Roads

Dodge Ram Jam Main Stage ($25 concert ticket required) — Cole Swindell and Colt Ford, beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Fireworks will be included at the conclusion of the last band, weather-permitting
