Summer Manufacturing Camp – RPS partners with Rock Valley College to prepare students for two NIMS Certificate tests. Camp runs thru Aug. 14. Montessori Students help build school in Kenya – Students at Maria Montessori School and Thurgood Marshall School are working with international charity partner Free the Children to build a school in Kenya. So far, they have raised nearly $13,000 to dig a well in South Sudan, plus continued service work. They plan to raise $10,000 to build a girls’ school in Kenya with a fund-raising program, “Brick by Brick.” They’re selling bricks for $20 and hope to sell 500.
