Victorian Village Hands-On History Day at Rockford’s Midway Village July 27

Midway Village Museum will present “Victorian Village Hands-On History Day” from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 27, on the museum grounds, 6799 Guilford Road, Rockford.

Visitors can participate in family-friendly demonstrations, including rope-making, quilting, home-fire brewing, and telegraphs in action thanks to the Rockford Amateur Radio Association. Experience the Print Shop and Blacksmith Shop at work, play 19th-century games and much more.

Admission is $8 adults and $5 children (ages 3-17). Tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the museum store. Online ticket sales end at 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 23. Midway Village Museum members are admitted free.
