Your Horoscope: Week of Aug. 20-26, 2014
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of Aug. 20-26, 2014
This Week: The new moon arrives Aug. 25 in Virgo, making this another feng shui moon. You will find the energy to cleanse your personal space around you and revitalize it. This new moon also lends a hand in providing the ability to let go of any worn-out thought processes that may have hindered your emotional growth in the past. Perfection, efficiency and driving energy all align in the best possible light during this time. Make use of this cosmic kick in the butt, people. Enjoy!
Aries (March 21 to April 19) — Try not to pound a round peg into a square hole this week. When an issue is pushed, it will not come to fruition in the time it is supposed to. Other key elements need to align before this is meant to be. Relax and let go; the sooner you can do that, the faster this will happen. The health and welfare of a female may be on your mind. Spend some extra energy in that direction this week.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) — An old friend will try to fix a mistake that had hurt you in the past few years. Your concern is that if you get back in that boat, you will be dragged right back into the drama all over again. You have more knowledge now regarding this matter, and you can use the validation to your emotional advantage. This aspect heals on many different levels. This is a week of wisdom.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) — Try not to let the past affect the future. Utilize the energies of this new moon (Aug. 25) to clear that away once and for all. A female family member may need your help or insight as she moves through a very difficult emotional process. You may not feel as though you have all the tools to fix this problem. However, you’d be surprised at how much of an impact you can make with just a little bit of sensitivity.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) — Oil and water don’t mix, and no one knows that better than you. With that said, don’t force an alignment between two people who just don’t see eye to eye. Let it be. This is not your calamity to fix. You have a good thing going now, and your energy should be utilized to improve the quality of your life. Avoid emotional vampires like the plague.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) — Jeez, lately life feels like NPR. You learn something new every day. Out of the mouths of babes comes some very profound information. The quieter you are regarding these elements, the more information you will receive. Finances begin to improve as we move into the fall and winter months. A consulting job may provide you with some additional income as well. Enjoy!
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) — Legal matters or financial unrest will be balanced out shortly, when an unexpected cash supply is discovered close at hand. Those around you are more than willing to work with you until you have your sea legs set in a stronger dynamic. Do not shortchange your health during this time. Without that, nothing will get accomplished.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) — There may have been a bit of “the silent treatment” coming from a friend or loved one this past month. The stress another is under doesn’t need to be enhanced by you. Try your best not to take a crowbar to these elements. Allow them to figure it out on their own. Meanwhile, you have your own growth and development to focus on. Good news arrives from a distance.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) — Others will make it possible for you to get some rest and relaxation this week. You have been over the top with responsibilities, and it’s starting to wear on your “last nerve.” Once you’re able to catch up on your rest, you can tackle some annoying projects that have been weighing heavily in the back of your mind. Competitive romantic aspects put you in the driver’s seat.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) — A romantic interest will make itself known to you. Even if you are involved, you will find this to be a giant case of flattery that puts a spring in your step. Your self-esteem has been a little on the down side, and this should do the trick for you emotionally. As a result of this newfound energy, you begin to look at options with work and home. Make good use of this aspect while it lasts.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) — You have some backup from a friend or family member this week that comes unexpectedly. This will allow you some time to relax and rejuvenate yourself. Old friends may arrive back into your scene with some new ideas and inspiration. You’re healing many wounds from your past now. Pay close attention to your dreams. Intuitive messages arrive during the midnight hours.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) — You’re able to make good use of your time and energy this week. A productive schedule benefits you financially as well as emotionally. You’re paying very close attention to whom you have become involved with over the last few years and what they “bring voice to.” Be cautious not to allow a negative individual to influence your hopes, dreams and ambitions. If this becomes the case, kick ’em to the curb.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) — Positive information that has arrived from an outside source will give you the courage you need to make some significant changes in the near future. While it seems everyone else in your life has been putting “themselves first,” now is the time to consider your needs and make them a priority. Leave the guilt trip behind for someone else to deal with. You’ve felt guilty long enough. Help around the house is arriving from an unexpected source.
