Old Farmin’ Days set for Sept. 6 in Caledonia, Illinois

CALEDONIA, Illinois — The 15th Annual Old Farmin’ Days is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, at Ward View Farm, 1171 Rockton Road, Caledonia, Illinois.
Over the past 15 years, the show has grown from a neighborhood picnic to a well-known event drawing in more than 2,500 people. Several pieces of antique farm equipment will be demonstrated, powered by either antique tractors or teams of draft horses.
New this year is “Haying with Horses,” a demonstration of seven pieces of hay equipment, all with teams of horses.
Back again this year is antique tractor pulls, pedal tractor pulls for the kids, and horse plowing demonstrations. Also included will be kids’ games, a petting zoo, wagon rides, chainsaw art, blacksmithing, as well as plenty of farm antiques to see and watch.
