OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center hosts Children’s Health & Safety Safari

Rockford’s OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, 5666 E. State St., presents the 13th annual Children’s Health & Safety Safari from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20. The free event will be in the hospital’s back parking lot.

Event highlights include the OSF Life Flight helicopter; the OSF Lifeline Ambulance; dental health information; pediatric surgery information; police and fire department vehicles; and asthma education, nutrition education, poison prevention, burn prevention, injury prevention, early intervention information and more. Free glucose and cholesterol screenings will also be offered for parents. Car seat checks will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at State and Roxbury.
