Updated: Roosevelt High School evacuated after bomb threat

Update: Students and staff at Roosevelt Community Education Center have returned to the building, following a bomb threat Thursday morning. Rockford police and fire determined the threat was not credible, and a student was taken into police custody. No injuries were reported. The school day will continue, as scheduled.

Roosevelt Community Education Center, 978 Haskell Ave., was evacuated Thursday, Sept. 25, morning following a bomb threat.

Police say students and staff are safe. The incident is being investigated.
