Rockton Lions Club to host blood drive Nov. 23

The Rockton Lions will host a blood drive in conjunction with Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) Sunday, Nov. 23, during the Peppermint Swirl Craft Show at Hononegah High School. The drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The club hopes to exceed their goal of over 30 pre-registered donors.

“’We serve,’ is the motto of the Lions,” said Karen Martin, Rockton Lions Club member. “We are so excited to be serving the community in November by bringing this drive to the area.”

In addition to the blood drive, the Rockton Lions will be collecting eyeglasses and raising funds for Wimpy’s Fund, a local memorial charity overseen by the club.
