Ghosts and goblins will preview Halloween during “Bone Jour!”, the annual Spooky Suzuki open house of The Music Academy in Rockford from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18. The Music Academy is in Loreen Hall, 226 S. Second St., in historic Haight Village.
“Bone Jour!” will provide the public an opportunity to observe Saturday morning classes and meet artist faculty members. An instrument petting zoo will be held for youngsters who are encouraged to wear costumes. New this year is a Book Sale, which will feature gently used books, both children’s and adult, CDs, vinyl records and sheet music. Most items will be priced at $1.Those wishing to donate books may take them to the Music Academy until Wednesday, Oct. 15. Holmstrom and Kennedy P.C. and WNIU/WNIJ are sponsors of “Bone Jour!”
