Rockford’s Discovery Center presents ‘Spooky Science’ Oct. 25

Rockford’s Discovery Center Museum, 711 N. Main St., will present an evening of family-friendly “Spooky Science” from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25. The event will be spooky enough for haunt-seekers, but friendly enough for all ages.

Attend in costume and bring a treat bag. Activities will include making glowing slime; playing musical chairs under black light; meeting famous “dead” scientists; enjoying a planetarium show and live science demo; making spooky bats, spiders and monster heads; and creating Halloween Shrinky Dinks.

Admission is $9 per person for the general public; $3 per person for members. Admission will include all related activities. Parking is free.
