Nov. 4 deadline for annual Puttin’ On the Glitz fund-raiser fashion show

Local television news anchors, hospital professionals and individuals whose lives have been touched by cancer will model holiday fashions from Crimson Ridge and Sturtevant’s during SwedishAmerican Health System’s annual Puttin’ On The Glitz fashion show/luncheon Friday, Nov. 7, at Giovanni’s. The event is a fund-raiser for SwedishAmerican’s Regional Cancer Center oncology patients and their families.
This year’s models are Rae Biesiadecki, cancer survivor, and granddaughters Avery and Addie; Jedediah Cantrell, vice president of clinical services at SwedishAmerican Health System, and daughter Saniya Cantrell; Kristin Crowley, WREX-TV; Don Daniels, vice president and chief operating officer at SwedishAmerican Health System; Anna Derocher, Rockford Register Star; Patti DeWane, director of corporate accounting at SwedishAmerican Health System; Rebecca Epperson, president of Chartwell Agency, and daughter Josie; Mike Garrigan, WIFR-TV; Dr. Bill Gorksi, president and CEO at SwedishAmerican Health System, and wife Sue; Kevin Haas, Rockford Register Star; Kristin Hagenlocher, daughter of Jan Hagenlocher; Ehren Jarrett, Rockford Public Schools superintendent; Greg Jury, SwedishAmerican Health System board member, and grandson Cooper; Rebecca Klopf, WREX-TV; Whitney Martin, WIFR-TV; Mimi Murphy, WTVO-TV/FOX 39; Sean Musseralo, WREX-TV; Rebecca Rose, Rockford Register Star; State Sen. Steve Stadelman, D-Rockford; Nick Toma, WTVO-TV/FOX 39; Josh Trust, Rockford Register Star; Madelyn Wilkinson, daughter of Laura Wilkinson, director of the SwedishAmerican Foundation; and Julia Zimmerman, vice president of SAMG and physician relations. Steve Summers and Shannon Zimmerman, Q98.5 WXXQ, will emcee the event.
During the luncheon, the annual Betty Henry Award will be presented to an individual or organization that has made an extraordinary contribution of time, talent and effort to the Regional Cancer Center at SwedishAmerican. The award is given in honor of Betty Henry, a long-time Rockford-area community volunteer, who died of cancer in 1995. Harpist Lois Schlueter also will perform during the fashion show. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction, all to benefit the Regional Cancer Center.
