BELOIT, Wisconsin — The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator (BFAI) will host a juried art show during November. More than 40 paintings depicting the subject of “The Play of Light and Shadow” will be on display. The art is the work of 15 artists from as far away as Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and Smithville, Missouri, as well as many from the stateline area.

The show opens Nov. 7 with an Artists’ Reception from 5 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Prior to the event, the art will be judged by artists Dan Wuthrich and Dean Folts. During the reception, three artists will receive awards for their work. The show will continue through Nov. 24.

BFAI is at 520 E. Grand Ave., Beloit, Wisconsin. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays-Fridays; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays.
