Favorite Midwest duo Trinadora visits Lanark Nov. 8

Staff Report

LANARK, Illinois — Saturday, Nov. 8, Trinadora, one of the Midwest’s favorite duos, visits Lanark, Illinois, for a performance at The Crooked Roof, 109 E. Carroll St.

Between them, duo partners Jannie Nelson and Ron Holm deliver breathtaking vocal solos, engaging harmonies, and masterful musicianship on keyboard, harmonica, ocarina, concertina, melodica, guitar and bass. Their music spans country, folk, jazz, blues, rock and ethnic styles, and they perform classic tributes, unique arrangements and original compositions.

Holm’s faithful recreation of Roy Orbison’s vocals and Nelson’s keyboard rendering of the rich orchestration that underpinned the Orbison sound have garnished many standing ovations. The duo’s Aerial Roots CD will be available at the special price of $5 during the performance. There is no admission charge. The performance begins at 8 p.m.
