Rockford’s Anderson Japanese Gardens, 318 Spring Creek Road, welcomes local Chef Patrick Alberto (Octane Interlounge) Saturday, Nov. 15, as part of its Guest Chef Dinner Series.
Alberto blends traditional French techniques with his own strong southeast Asian cooking background, bringing a distinctive twist to the honest comfort food Octane has been known for the past 17 years.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. featuring Koval Distillery, Chicago’s first distillery since the mid-1800s. The four-course dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., with each of the courses paired with a different cocktail. Alberto and Koval Distillery will be on hand to interact with guests and answer questions.
The cost is $85 per person for non-members and $80 per person for members (gratuity not included). Space is limited, and reservations are requested by Friday, Nov. 7. Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend this event.
