Single vocal mic, well-dressed, fast-paced, with all the excitement of the early days of bluegrass in covers and original material; Truman’s Ridge offers an exciting blend of the familiar and the unique.

Truman’s Ridge (http://www.trumansridge.com) is a regional band, playing festivals and venues in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee and Missouri. Truman’s Ridge is known for its classic style, high energy, and tight harmonies and instrumentation.

At 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7, Rockford-area listeners will have an opportunity to experience Truman’s Ridge perform in JustGoods’ intimate, acoustically-excellent “Listening Room.” There is no admission charge, but listeners will have an opportunity to make donations directly to Truman’s Ridge and to purchase autographed CDs.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the performance begins at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, and refreshments are available. Parking is free in the lot adjacent to the JustGoods west entrance at 201 Seventh St., Rockford.
