Staff Report

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man with two prosthetic legs and no hands is still on the run from police in Florida after the man’s parents were found dead earlier this week.

Police say Sean Petrozzino, 30, is the main suspect in the death of Michael Petrozzino, 63, and Nancy Petrozzino, 64. The couple were found shot dead Tuesday at their Orlando home after Nancy Petrozzino didn’t show up at her school where she taught second grade. It is believed Sean Petrozzino stole his father’s red Toyota Camry after the shootings and may be on his way to south Florida. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Petrozzino recently moved in with is parents a week before the homicides after separating from his wife, police said. He was considered an inspiration back in 2000, when he remained positive despite losing his legs and hands to bacterial meningitis. Nancy Petrozzino was a teacher at Andover Elementary School in Orlando. Michael worked as a costumed character at Disney World.

    Readers,

Newspapers and other news sources generally do not remove stories if the stories were true and accurate at the time of publication. The articles serve as a history of the developing story.

As the first poster noted though, the suspect in this case took his own life. A short report of this story may be found at:
