Salvage Too, Rockford’s ReUse Center, is now open on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center, at 907 S. Main St., had been closed as a result of road construction on South Main Street.
Salvage Too has some new items from recent deconstruction projects, a huge inventory of reclaimed lumber, windows and doors, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and even some items for the “repurposers.”
Rehabbing a house? Building a shed? Adding a room? Complete sets of windows and many doors are available. Door and window prices begin at $10. Most casements are $30 and $35. The store is bigger and brighter than ever.
“Salvage Too accepts donations of building materials, used home and office furniture, and sells them at a greatly reduced price,” said Executive Director/CEO Kerry Knodle. “The funds generated help to support the agency’s mission and programs.”
