Comfort Keepers supports toy drive and seniors

I received a phone call today asking why Comfort Keepers is supporting a toy drive when there are so many things seniors need. Most of our work and community involvement is indeed related to seniors. Did you know that Comfort Keepers sponsors the Comforting Holiday Cards for Seniors, organizes “Feed Seniors Now” food collections three times a year, sponsors two annual blood drives, promotes the Yellow Dot Safety Program, and we serve veterans at special events. Our company team walks annually in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. But in addition to these services for seniors, we have sponsored families through the Salvation Army at Christmas, and this year, we are a drop-off site for the Rockford Memorial Holiday Toy Drive.

Yes, seniors are a priority for us … but when we see a need, we want to help however we can. Comfort Keepers is proud to be involved, making a difference in our community.
