Staff Report

Friday, Dec. 5, Trinadora visits Roscoe, Illinois, for a performance at The Mandolin Café, 10684 Main St.

Between them, Trinadora duo partners Jannie Nelson and Ron Holm deliver breathtaking vocal solos, engaging harmonies and masterful musicianship on keyboard, harmonica, ocarina, concertina, melodica, guitar and bass. Their music spans country, folk, jazz, blues, rock and ethnic styles, and they perform classic tributes, unique arrangements and original compositions.

The music of Roy Orbison is one of the duo’s specialties; Holm’s faithful recreation of Orbison’s vocals and Nelson’s keyboard rendering of Orbison’s rich orchestration have garnished many standing ovations.

The duo’s Aerial Roots CD will be available at the special price of $5 during the performance. There is no admission charge. The performance begins at 7 p.m.
