Holiday Spirit Day at Victory Golf Range Dec. 17 to benefit The Arc
Online Staff Report
The inaugural Holiday Spirit Day hosted by Victory Golf Range is Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Arc of Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties will receive 50 percent of all sales and purchases from this event.
Victory Golf Range has something for everyone, whether you’re looking to improve your swing, practice your putting skills, chip out of their indoor sand trap, or just have fun with friends or family. Victory Golf Range, at 7003 N. Alpine Road, in Loves Park, Illinois, is the state line area’s only indoor driving range open year round with more than 24,000 square feet of space, including a full-service sports bar.
The Arc of Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties serves adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families through advocacy and support. Much of The Arc’s income is composed of private and business donations, grants and fundraising. The Arc is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The Arc’s objective is to help families raise children diagnosed with I/DD at home and support adults to live in their communities and participate with work, worship, family and friends. Along with an expanding art program, The Arc offers life skills development classes, informational seminars, and social activities.
