This house wasn’t hit at random. These homeowners either had work recently done on the premises, responded to someone soliciting during the day where they cased the house, or their children have made friends with an acquaintance of this guy. I have also heard that there ARE people following UPS trucks around making deliveries and after the deliveries are made, a criminal walks to the door, pretends to be ringing the doorbell and either steals the package OR sees where the package is coming from and accesses the value! Always have your neighbor know when you are expecting a package to be delivered and ask them if they would take it in their house for you!!
