IceHogs recall Jamie Wise, next home game Dec. 26

The Rockford IceHogs announced Dec. 17 that they have recalled forward Jamie Wise from the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.

Wise, 23, has recorded a goal in two games with the IceHogs this season, as he scored in his AHL debut Nov. 28 against the Chicago Wolves.

In 15 games with Indy, the 23-year-old has registered 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) during his first professional campaign.

Prior to turning pro, Wise spent two seasons with Ryerson University in Toronto. The Stouffville, Ontario, native paced the Rams with 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) in 2013-14 and was named team MVP and a CIS Second Team All-Canadian.

Next home game: Friday, Dec. 26, vs. Iowa Wild. Puck drops at 7 p.m. The IceHogs return home from a six-game swing on the road to take on the Wild at the BMO. Fans 21 and older can arrive early for another Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party, where they can enjoy free appetizers, live music and drink specials. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
