The Pregnancy Care Center of Rockford, a local nonprofit organization, is hosting an open house from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, with a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m.
The open house will feature a ribbon-cutting for the organization’s new administrative offices at 4921 E. State St., brief tours of the client-centered facility and showcase the latest equipment, including a new ultrasound machine provided completely from funds by generous donors and from sponsors throughout the community.
Positioned with a new brand identity and technologically upgraded facilities at both East State and West State Street locations, The Pregnancy Care Center is better able to concentrate on serving the whole person with mentoring for women and men, pregnancy testing and full ultrasound as well as education, practical resources and referrals to other community agencies.
“Within our new identity, I see three intertwined circles representing the partnership of our staff, volunteers and donors in serving our clients,” said Tiffany Staman, executive director of The Pregnancy Care Center. “All three are integral to accomplishing our mission and make it possible to serve the needs of women and men in our community.”
